The compact photoelectric sensors BJ series offer high performance and noise immunity for accurate and reliable detection. The Light ON/Dark ON operation mode can be automatically switched or manually adjusted via a switch for easy setup and installation (excluding BJG-DDT). The sensors come in various types, providing users with multiple options and diverse applications. The BJ series includes models such as long-distance type, BGS (background suppression) reflective type, transparent glass detection type, and micro spot type. The sensors are available in both cable types and connector types (long-distance type module).

BGS Reflective Type
BGS (background suppression) minimizes detection errors caused by background and the color or material of the objects. Detection distance can be set via sensitivity adjuster.
Visible light source for easy identification of the detection area, and small spot size helps minimize influence from surrounding objects.
Transparent Glass Detection / Microspot Type
Stable detection of transparent objects (LCD, PDP, glass,...) (transparent glass detection type).

Detection range from 0.1 to 4m or 0.1 to 5m when using MS-2S or MS-3S reflector. When using reflective tape, reflectivity will vary depending on the size of the tape. Please refer to the '▣ Reflectivity according to reflective tape model' table before use.
